CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR RED CROSS NURSES.
Some of our readers having expressed a wish, to join in sending Christmas gifts to tho nurses at tho front, we communicated with the committee of the local Rod Cross Branch of St. John Ambulance Association, who very kindly consented to take charge of donations for this purpose, and send the gifts as desired. We have much pleasure, therefore, in inviting subscriptions for this excellent object, and shall be glad to receive and acknowledge any donation however small. It is necessary that subscriptions should be sent in at once if the gifts are to reach the nurses by Christmas. •
