KAMO SPRINGS HOTEL DESTROYED. (7T.W ABiOCIATION TSLICKAM.) WHANGAUEI, 2". The Eanio Springs Hotel mis completely destroyed by fire yesterday. The owner, Jatpor Montgomery, found his bedroom lull of smoke at five a.m., and aroused his wife and two children, and about six guests. The latter xvere sleeping upstairs, and all wore obliged to escape in tlieir night attire, losing their personal effects. Tlie fire is believed to have l>oeii caused by a defective chimney. The insurances were held in ibe l T nit*'d Insurance Company for £2400- The loss ii estimated at double this sum.
