Tlio Veterans' Association desire to thank all those who assisted on Daffodil Day and Messrs C. E. Gibbons and Co. for their gilt of £1 17s 3d, proceeds of flower sales. Matters ju connexion with thc-bazaar, winch takes place during Show Week, aro well m hand The entertainment portion will bo cn a largo-scale, and of a varied nature. The committco is departing a litti© from the ordinary bazaar in not having too many stalls for tho sale of goods, and is making it more of a. palace of amusement. Captain Farthing has kindly undertaken tho work of drilling the ladies" in the march of tho Allies. There is room ior about twelve more, who muat Iw of medium height. In connexion with tho bazaar. Mr Buckett, of Lichfield street, has undertaken tho task of lowering the worlds sword-swinging record. Tbo Veterans' Association acknowledge wita thanks the following donations to tho Convalescent Home at North Brighton:—A. J.
