DENOMINATIONALISM IN CAMP.

A MINISTER'S ALLEGATIONS.

(Received September 27thy 12.10 a.m.) LONDON. September 25. The Rev. Lauchlari MaeLean Watt, minister of St. Stephen s. Edinburgh, in an article in tho ''Scotsman," says it has hitherto bocti the custom at a certain great camp in Northern Franco to hold a united parade, with a service for all creeds, under the guidance of the Presbvterian and Anglican chaplains. No attempt at proselytising has been mado. When tho Anglican chaplain was removed elsewhere on tho front, the Presbyterian continued tho services until another Anglican came. _ Bishop Gwynne, who was recently appointed to supervise tho Anglican chaplains, has now intimated that tho joint service must cease, and that Anglican soldiers only will attend Anglican services. Mr Watt goes on to say that it is impossible that tho great mass of Anglicans approve of this bitterness. In a hospital where a wounded Scotsman was lying a chaplain came in to give Communion to stricken men._ He said to one man. with a slight 6milo: "You are out of it, Jock. I can't give it to you." Mr Watt adds: "How the stricken Christ must have felt his wounds burst forth again. Churchmen aro playing the most dangerous game at this moment of supreme if they persist in putting forward a shibboleth. for tho reality.'
