TATTERSALL'S HORSE BAZAAR.
Messrs H. Matson and Co. had an entry of 63 horses on Saturday. There were not many good activo sorts entered, a largo proportion of the entry consisting of old horses, tho present high prices of liorso feed no doubt causing otvuers to clear out all horses not actually necessary. There is a good demand for eound young farm horses ready to go into work, but this class is hard to get hold of. Anioug principal eales wero:—Account 'W. F. Bankside, five-year-old half draught gelding £13, eight-year-old gelding £1-1 j account Adam E..Smith, β-iccarton, aged pony ware £18 3 three-year-old poiiv £15, two-year-old pony £12 10s; account J. l r . Beck, Bankside, four-year-old gelding -£14'10s; account W" Lenhard, Hoon Hay, sis-year-old harness mare £12. Aged" harness horses made from £1 upwards.
