SATURDAY'S POULTRY MARKET.
Messrs J. B. Merrett and Co. had a large entry of jxwltry, with prices firm. Tnblo chickens realised 4s 6d to 8s 2d, ducklings 4s to 7s 2d, ducks 3s to ss, pullets 3s to Bs, hens Is 6d to 4s, seeso 6s to 7s, turkeys 7s to 225, aud breeding cockerels 20s per pair. ■ Messrs A. 13. Sands- and Co. had a good entry at their, yards, when primo birds realised good money, hens being on a par with last week's prices. Following were the prices realised:- — Prime table chickens 3s 6d to 8s 4d per pair, hens 2s to 3s 5d 3 ducks 3s 9d to 6s, geese 6s to 7fe 3d, turkeys (gobblers) 16s io 203, turkeys (liens) 8s 6d to 14s.
