TAXATION OF CONTRACTORS' PROFITS.
•LONDON, May 1. The "I>atlv Telegraph" <s3.y s it is believed that the Government intends to tax the increased profits of manufactures of war materials, tile taxation being based on the * average earnings during the two or threo years before the war.
