FRENCH STEAMER TORPEDOED
LONDON, April 1. The French steamer Emma was torpedoed off Bcnchy Head. She was not warned. Seventeen men are missing. The Emma was a steamer of 1617 tons gross register, .built in 1892 at Dumbarton, and owned by Worms aud Co , of Havre.
