YOUNG WOMEN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TEtXCnAM.) WELLINGTON. March 4. Dorothy Scoullar, otherwise known
as Soutar, and Lesley Reid, wore committed for trial on a charge of stealing £141 os from the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel, on the 16th February. It was stated that £53 13s 8d had been recovered, but the balance had been spent. The girls -were arrested at Woodville, and afterwards confessed to the police.
