At Burnsido to-day, only 130 fat cattlo wore yarded. Tficro wcro not many good bullocks forward, tho yarding consisting of a good proportion of cows and heifers. Freezing buyers were not operating, but owing to tho short supply there was good competition by butchers, though the demand eased qtf towards tho end of tho sale. Prices were about 15s per head nbovo thoso ruling last week. Best bullocks made£l4 to £15, medium to good £11 to £13 light £9 10s to £10 10s. beet cowe and heifers £10 to £11. 10s, extra to £14, medium to good £8 to £9, others £6 to £7 10s. .• . . , Fat sheep —There- was a fair sized yarding, 2585 being penned, but not mauy prime sheep were forward. Froezing buyers wore operating, but on slightly reduced limits owing to the decision of tho Imperial Government regarding tho export of meat. Prices generally were about Iβ per head below those ruling last week, but medium quality owes showed a drop of Is Gα to 2s per head. Prime we there made 24e to 26e, extra, to 31b, medium '225, to. 235, light 18s to 19s. prihio ewea 21 5 to 233, extra to 27s 6d, medium 17s to 19s, light to 15s. Fat lambs —There was a small yarding, 700 being penned. Tho entry contained a large proportion of medium quality. Prices, generally, were munh tho same as last week. Good lambs met with fairly keen competition, but medium and unfinished were dull of sale. Good made 17s to 19s, extra to 22a 6d. medium 15s to 16s, unfinished to'l4s6d. . pj gSp _74 fate and 40 stores were penned. Fat'pige were slightly easier, and stores sold at much the same prices as at last sale.
