SWIMMING.
CARNIVAL AT LYTTELTON REGATTA. Owing to the inclement weather on Monday evening, the date for receiving entries for the Carnival in the graving dock, Lyttelton, on New Tear's Day, has been extended to to-morrow at 5 p.m., and will close with Mr W. Johneon (Deeds Offioe, Old Government Buildings).
