A match was played on tho Rangiora polo grounds on Saturday between teams representing: tho districts north and south c_ tho Ashley river for the President's Cup, to be held by the team winning two out of three contests. Tho final match was that decided on Saturday, when North were again victorious, Minnies by 6, goals to 4, .md thus win tho Cup. The teams were:'—North: H. En_or (captain), J. McCrachen, S. Townend, C. 11. Enaor. South-. J. Macdonald (captain), O. Hope, A. Fear, and E. Fear.
