SENIOR CADET PARADES.

The advisableness. of substituting daylight parades for night parades for Senior Cadets was strongly urged in the House this afternoon by Mr Young. _Io said that in many cases in the «ountrv tbeso boys did not reach home after attending the parades.till about half-past eleven o'clock at night. With all the temptations that beset boys, or from 14 to' 18 years this was not desirable. He thought that the . parades should take place in the daytime, and that in the case of boys attending fc-ehool. tho time spent at the parades should be counted as equal to a school attendance. He was glad to have.the assurance of the Minister that tins matter was receiving consideration.
