The Prime Minister told the House this afternoon that be would be prepared to state next week when -,-ihe Financial Statement would be brought down. Ho could not say when the Lands report would bo available. In reply to Sir Joseph Ward, the Prime Minister said tho report of- tho new General Manager of Railways would "be supplied before the Financial Statement was discussed. In reply to Mr Sidey, tho Hon. Jas. Allen said the Education Bill would bo brought down within a fortnight, and would be referred to the Education Committee.
