The lost meeting cf the Paparua County Council was attended by all the members, except Mr McCarthy, who is still indisposed,; and to whom leave of absence was granted at the • previous meeting. The Springs County Council wrote, regarding the drainage of the land within tho rating area of the Ellesmere Lands Drainage Board's disand asking if this Council would join in getting a third opinion as to which "body is responsible for. the niainttainence of the drains in the drainago area. The chairman and Mr Paterson were appointed to confer with the Springs County. Parrott wrote regarding the private road running past his property, and asking that tho Council take over and form and metal a portion of the road.
