LEESTON.
A successful concert was held in St. John's Parish . Room at Loeston on "Wednesday evening, .tinder .the auspices of the local branch of the Girls' Friendly Society. Songs and other items were given by Misses Oppenheim, Hammond, Withers, Gregg (2), Blacklor and Isabel Pcnliiigtbn, Messrs J. B. Brown, H. F. Penlington, and H. Cornwall. The entertainment concluded with a comedietta staged by three members of jthe Leeston Amateur Dratic Club. Misses Volckman and "Douold and Mr L. Carter. l
