THEATRE BOYAL. Another largo and most appreciatiT« audience- assembled at tho Theatre Royal last night to witness tho repetition of the popular play, "Tho Rosary," by the George Wilioughby Company. The same pieca will be given again tonight, also to-morrow afternoon, and for ' th* last timo to-morrow night. OPERA HOUSE. There was a large and appreciative audience at tho Opera House last night, and Bailey's Posing Dogs, Deave's Merry Mannikins, Lo Witte, Millio Doris, and other members of tho vaudeville company met with an enthusiastic reception. To-night the program mo will be repeated, and to-morrow afternoon a special children's matinco will b* given. QUEEN'S THEATRE.-To-day's new programme at tho Queen's Continuous Picture Theatre includes for a star attraction a two-reel Gaumont drama, '"The Shadow on the Wall." Andrew Verney, a young fel- I low of twenty-eight, becomes tho guai'dian of Beryl, tho eight-year-old daughter of a chum. Years pass, ! and Verney falls in lovo with his ward, but he refrains from declaring his passion. His cousin, Dernott, loses his -wealth, and pleads to bo granted the shelter of Vorney's roof. Dernott attempts to murder his cousin, but ho is prevented by Beryl, who turns to her guardian and returns his love. "The Poto Lariat," is a__ Flyinc A drama of doings in tho West. The •story, is a sympathetic one. and also displays somo wonderful horsemanship. Other subjects in tho programme aro "Picturesque Normandy" (a Patho scenic), "Beauty Unadorned" (a Vitagranh comedy in two parts), and tho latest Patho' "Gazette." The •'specials" for to-morrow aro "The Cattleman's Daughter," and "A Champion Boxer." SYDENHAM PICTURES. There was a largo audience at tho Sydenham Theatro last night, when the new programme was presented. The etar film, "Sealed Orders," dealt with tho story of a Navy spy, and it was a drama full of exciting events, built around episodes of the Amorican- , Mexico war. The picture was finely staged and acted. The latest "Patho Gazette" was both interesting and mii structive. An exciting drama was enI titled "Tho Delayed Special." Another I good drama, "His Comrade's Wife, - ' dealt with one of England's tribal wars, and told the story of a soldier's honour falsely won. A fine industrial film depicted the working of "A Sandstone Quarry," and a good scenic film showed "The Lakes of the Pyrenees." Two good oomedies wero "Bunny's Mistako" and "A Rural I>emon." The programme will, be repeated to-night. GRAND~THEATRE. A new programme waa shown at the Grand Theatro yesterday, when tho films shown were of a high standard of ii'orit, and were woll received at all sessions. The principal picture was "The Narcotic Spectre," produced by the well-known "Kay Bee" Company, which depicted the plight of au officer of the United States Army, who is under tho tyranny of • the opium habit. The "Warwick Chronicle" contains many interesting items, notably views of the Sydney Saltwater Baths and Swimmers. Berlin Ladies' Fashions, British Flyinc Corps, England v. America Polo Teams, and their Majesties at Aldershot. Supporting films included "Roland, the Trapper," a drama of tho North-west of Canada; "Sealed Orders," an entertaining burlesque: and "The HO9. "Williams Donah," a grand comedy. Tho same films will be screened to-day. GLOBE PICTURES. A new programme of attractive __ films was presented at tho Globe Picturo Theatre yesterday. "Officer John Dono- ! van" was tho star film, the story dealing with tbo career of a New York policeman who adopts a little girl-waif and brings her up. Tho constable is afterwards retired, but is appointed a special detective to assist in unearthing a gang of "crooks." He gains admis- , sion to tho stronghold of tho gang, and brings about tho arrest of the whole party. In pursuit of this particular pioco of work he-finds a long-lost son "Dian's DTess Reform" was a fresh and entertaining comedy, showing how a young lady managed to replace a special ballroom gown which had unexpectedly disappeared. Other good supporting* films wero "The Gambler's Cliance" (drama).. "Wiffles Tricks tho Detectives" (comic), and tho "Gaumont Graphic." Tho pictures will bo shown again tw-day. HAYWARD'S PICTURES. The films taken in tho crater of Vesuvius, also a pictorial representation of W. W. Jacobs's story, "Tho Third String," with the other pictures on the current programme, entertained anothor largo attendance of patrons at His Majesty's Theatre last night. This evening the programme will be repeated. FULLER'SPICTtJRES. "Sealed Orders," the great naval 1 drama,now being shown at the Colosseum, attracted au audience last night.
