(Before Mr T. A. B. Bailey, S.M.. and Messrs D. Gillanders and J. Dysart, J.P.'s.) Judgment was given for plaintiffs by default in the following cases:— J. Prestige v. Chas. Ireland, claim 8s; J. O. Anstiss v. W. E. Cook, claim £U Is-Id: , A. M. Welsh v. J. MoGovern, claim £7 7s 9dFor failing to attend drill, P. C. S. Prestige was convicted and discharged. G. C. Reveley and E. R. Morgan were each fined 2(Ss and costs, while F. Boooock was fined Wβ and costs. J. Lorgelly waa convicted and fined 10s and costs for "allowing cattle to trespass on the railway at Kirwee. John Henry Stephens, commonly known as Harry Reveley, was committed for trial on a charge of assaulting a child five years of age, with intent to commit a crime.
