DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT.

The Governor-General's decision to grant a double dissolution has been received with much enthusiasm by Liberals in all parts of tho Commonwealth. It is stated that the Liberal organisation is well prepared for an immediate campaign. Mr Cook stated that it was the most serious step taken since Federation was adopted, but it was tho only means of avoiding tho paralysis of responsible government. ' Unless it was done, grave Constitutional problems would arise.
