WAR IN COLORADO.
A TOWN BESIEGED
SIX HUNDRED STRIKERS SURRENDER.
(By Csbls.—Pre« Association.—Opyrurht.) ,'Received April 30th. 10.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON. April 20. Under a truce, lighting has stopped near Denver, over six hundred strikers laying down their arms. Tho men have been detained in custody, and will bo charged with murder. The Federal troops are expected immediately, when it is probable that peace will be restored. Tho town of Walzenburg withstood practically a siege, women and children being imperilled. Aline guards and strikers fought for hours, bullets whistling overhead in the streets. A special session of the State Legislature has been called to deal with tho situation.
