AUCKLAND, March 15. Messrs J. Kirby and D. M. Parry and Dr. A. A. Snowden, American Trade Commissioners, arrived from Sydney to-day by the Riverina. Tho Commission is sending three or four months investigating commercial and industrial conditions in Australasia, with a view to promoting closer business relations between Australasia and the United States. It is also examining Australasian legislation, with the idea of_advccating the adoption of such laws an would seem advantageous to American industry. The Commission has beeii sent out by the National Association of Manufacturers, which is a very powerful organisation? it 9 members employing over five million workers.
