McGOORTY DEFEATS SMITH
(By C»ble>-Pree» Aesocittien.— (Received March loth, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 15. McGoorty obtained a verdict over Jeff Smith on points after twenty rounds. Tho decision . was badly received. The Stadium management afterwards decided to relieve the referee, Arthur Scott, of his duties, and appoiuted Harold Baker in his stead.
