_ GORE, March 15. __The Hon. Mr Fraser, Minister of Public Works, is at present visiting the southern portion of hie electorate. He Ms received a nnmbar of deputations, one from AVendon leaseholders, who complained somewhat bitterly of the variety of tenures to which they are subjected, and the fact that no compensation is allowed for grass on the termination of the lenses. The Minister promised to bring the matter "nder the notirc of the Minister of J<ands.
■Mr Frasor continues his oountrv tour to-morrow and on Tuesday.
