Tho entertainment of tho delegates attending tho Fire Brigade Conference was concluded on Friday with a s-Tvim-ming carnival at tiie Municipal Baths. Thero was a large attendance, and the Rangiora Brass Band played selections throughout the afternoon. Following are th« results :— 50yds Girls' Race—M. Fergus 1, G. Dierck 2. Schoolboys' Raca—C. Long Divo —E. Staples 1. In the evening a. send-off was tendered to the Rangiora Band by the Fire Brigade and Citizens' Committee.
