MR HTRST-SEAGERS CLIFTON 1 COTTAGES. Mr Hurst-Seager's cottages at Clifton, which give to the end of the hill near the main road such an attractive appearance, were offered for sale by auction on Saturday by Mr A. E. Craddock in conjunction with Mr Charles Clark. There was a large attendance of the public, and bidding was spirited for most of the lots, good prices being realised. Details are as follow:— Lot 1. Six-roomed cottage and 1 rood 10 perches. £1600, Mr Morley. Lot 2. Five-roomed cottage and 37 perches, passed in at £775. 'Ihe auctioneer said that £800 would be accepted. Lot 3. Four-roomed cottage and 20 perches, passed in at £750. Lot 4. Four-roomed cottage and '20 perches, £740, Mr McMurray. Lot 5. Four-roomed cottage and 15 perches. £S2O, Mr England. Lot 6. Four-ronmed cottage and 17 perches. £525, Mr Gaffney. Lot 7. Six-roomed cottage and 25 perches. £900, Mr Menzies. Lot 8. Four-roomed cottage and 23 perches, Mr McMurray. Lot 0. Section, 20 perches, passed in at £280. Lot 10. Section. 20 perches and two small buildings. £400, Mr Cassidy.
