SUNDAY FUNERALS.

DUNEDLn, March 13. At a meeting of the Session of Knox Church, tbe following resolution ' was carried:—-"That the Session learns with/ regret that the practice of having_funeraks on Sundays is increasing. It expresses its disapprobation of the practice, involving as it does a serious-en-croachment on the time and labour or ministers, and instructs its own. minister to decline Sunday funerals, except on occasions of necessity or extrem© - urgency."-
