CHERTSEY OIL WELL.
The Canterbury Petroleum 'Prospectus Company, Ltd., will shortly commence boring operations on the ground selected at Chertsey. A plant has been purchased in the Gisborne district, and will be placed on the flite within the next three or four weeks.
