At the monthly sale of the Canterbury By-Products Company at ■Sockburn. pelts sold at 2s lOd to 4s sd, and lambskins 3s 8d to 4s 2d. A quantity of halfbred wool made 10d, crutch-tigs and pieces 6d per lb. MEADOWBAXK estate. There was a good attendanco at Mr Charles Clark's rooms yesterday, when portions of Mr G. E. Rhodes's Meadowbank Estate were submitted by auction. Bidding was fairly brisk, but did not reach the reserve. Lot 3, containing 116 acres, started at £30 per acre, and reached £44 per acre, when it was withdrawn. Lot 2, 171 acres, started at £20, and reached £34, when it was withdrawn.
