THE MINNETT CASE

In the action brought by tho Commercial Bank of Australia to recover £2600 from Cora Minnett, counsel for defendant asked the Judge to say that she had no fraudulent or dishonest intent.
Counsel for tho Commercial Bank contended that Mianett's career was one on the borderland of criminal enterprise. Cowell was her dupe, masqueraded as her brother, and lived in the same house. She kept him, -.nd he was a dummy director in one of her companies. Judgment was reserved.
