Twenty-five thousand troops aro now converging on tho stronghold of the bandits, where two thousand of them are entrenched. Half of the bandits are armed with modern rifles. The troops evince a strong disinclination to come to close quarters. Unless the bandits are exterminated, many fear that they will become the centre of another revolution.
