CHEVIOT.
At a meeting hold in the Town Hall on Saturday it was resolved to reorganise the Cheviot BnasK Band. The following officers wore elected:— President 3lr C. Barnes; vice-presi-dents, Messrs G. "W. Forbes. M.P., J Ronton], and Mr Thos. Sullivan; committee, Messrs Sturgess, Laivzesen, Gill, and M. Flaherty, junr.; bandnaster. Mr Simmons. It was resolved that Tuesday and Friday nighte be devoted to practice.
