MELBOURNE, February 14.
The compulsory conference of shipowners and watersiders has been adjourned indefinitely. It has been arranged that a joint statement of the position be prepared and jssued to flic Pross by Mr Northcote and Mr W. M. Hughes. The latter has informed the Press that the draft statement has not yet been prepared, and the matter ninst trait till Monday. Ko further information is available.
