"CHARY ABOUT PLAYING DUCKS AND DRAKES."
"(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WANGANUI, October 29. At a meeting of the local waterside workers, held to-day, it was decided that all cargo which had been handled by unionists, should be worked. Labour on the local wharves, wTiich is mainly dealing With transeihipments
from Wellington, is particularly slack; in fact, it has not been very brisk for some weeks past, so that the local watersides are somewhat chary about playing ducks and drakes with their living. They do not belong to tho Federation of Labour.
