AMERICAN TEAM'S TOUR.
AN OFFEIt ACCEPTED. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEOBAIi.) WELLINGTON, September 2. The Couticil of the Amateur Athletic Association has received a letter from Mr Unmack, manager of the American team of ath.etee to tour Now Zealand, offering to bring a collection of lantern slides depicting the manner and method of training schoolboy athletes in Amor Lea. iir Unmack proposes to deliver lectures under the auspices of th© education authorities. The Council decided to, accept the offer, and set up a cub-committee to deal with the matter. The Council of tho New Zealand Amatour Athletic Association has decided to-write to the various centres and clubs interested in the forthcoming toiir of tho American team, to hold gatherings so that the beet men may be found and trained to meet the Americans. The question of providing trainers to coach promising athlotes is still under consideration.
