ADRIFT IN A LAUNCH.

In connection with the supposed boating fatality at Lyall Bay, the launch, which was reported missing, returned late ' last night. The men had been to ■ Falliser iiay fishing, and started to return on Sunday. Tho engine broke down while off the Heads, and the sea being rough tiic- little craftwas tossed dangerously about. . The water got into parts of the engine, totally disabling it. Fearing the launch _ would be swamped, those on board jettisoned a large catch of fish which had been secured, and then hoisted a tiny sail After drifting Sunday-night and all day Monday, they eventually made port.
