It was estimated that ■there was a. prospect of getting a return of 20 per cent, on the scheme. The committee also recommended that the Harbour Board be approached with regard to repairs to the Diamond Harbour jetty, and the question of, controlling the transport, of passengers and material to Diamond Harbour, to enable the committee to. ascertain the cost of a motor-boat service.
