. . LONDON, August 31. Killarnoy House, the seat of the Earl of Kenmaro, has been burned down. Tho damage amounts to' £200,000.. Valuable furniture and china wero destroyed, but priceless art treatsurea wero saved.
No. 99 Victoria" street, a shop with dwelling attached, and occupied by "W. H. Jones, butcher, was tho scene of a fire last night. The flames licked up tho wall paper and scrim throughout the building, and charred the lining boards, otherwise doing no eerious damage.
. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) ■* INVERCARGLLL, September 1. Shortly before 5 o'clock this morning, at Bluff, a five-roomed house occupied by C. Stagg and 'family, and owned by C. Burtenshaw, Timaru, was completely destroyed by fire. The building was ineured for £415 in tho State offioe, and the furniture in the North British office. .
