SATURDAY'S MARKETS.
There was a largo attendance at the looal poultry markets on Saturday, and a good entry of all classes. The demand was exceptionally keen, and prices were very high. The following are the values; — Table chickens, 4s 6d to 8s 4d; pullets, 3s to 9s 6d; ducks, 6s to 7s 3d; hens, 2s Gd to 6s 6d; geese, 7s; turkeys.. 23s to 33s per pair. Eggs sold at 10d and lid per dozen.
