NAPIER, August 29. -As a sequel to tho recent firo at Hastings, Patrick llaenam-nra vras today charged v.-ith arson, and with making a false declaration, and. in conjunction with Nellie Wells .Macnu'uara. was also charged with conspiring to defraud the Guardian Insurance Company. Accused were remnnded to appear at Hastings on "Wednesday next.
