HALSWELL CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Harwell Tennie Club wae held in the- echoolroom on Tuceday. Aithough (Lβ weather was bad there waa a good attendance o! inernbere prceent. The b&i*ace~eheet shoved a credit balance of £i 18e.
The meeting decided to centribote the earn of £15 towards the erection of an addition to the present pavilion in the Domain, end also to assist the Domain Board end Sporte Club to rsiso t&other £15 towards tho ooet ef tho fftructuQ. <
The trophies presented by Qμ Bey. Mr and Mrs Dunnage wan won by Hies Beatio (ladioe) tuid id B, L. Eickeiby (men). The election of officers resulted as follow:-, Ptesidtsnt, ilr E. Paterson; vico-preaiden6, StJ 1 *"!.} 1 * and to Doomage; Mr R. 3MoiL!h»n, Mre Bsra, and Mr G. Eobinsoa; eecretary. i£r W. Gardiner; treaeurer, Mitn Elsie Ell; committee, Mre Patereon, Mies Penny, Miss Gardiner, Miss Mercer, ILcasui W. Strecter, E. Moyna, and J. Down.
