MB. J. CONNELL.
Tho death took place at Arowhenua on Saturday of Mr John Connell, at tho age of 78 years. The lato Mr Connell was widely known and respected in fiouth Canterbury, and his many friends will regret to near of hie death. He leaves a widow, seven daughters, and two sons. The funeral was one ot the largest seen in the district for some time.
