AUCKLAND, May 5. A fire in the premises of George Lo Petit, stationer, in Victoria Arcade, on Saturday night was speedily extinguished, but damage amounting to several hundred pounds was done. INVEKCAIIGILL. May 5. A seven-roomed house in Clyde street, owned and occupied by Fred O'Neijl, cordial manufacturer, was batiiy damaged by fire to-night, two rooms being gutted. The damage to tho house and furniture will probably amount to £300. The insurances were not asoertainable to-night.
