EVACUATION OF SCUTARI
GERMAN PRESS COMMENT
BERLIN, May 4
The "North German Gazette" states that the last meeting of the Ambassadors, encouraged by a Montenegrin communication, extended the time for tho evacuation of Scutari, and impressed upon King Nicholas that it waj only if he peacefully evacuated the town that he could reckon on the contemplated help of the Powers to improve the economic position of the country. . The "Gazette" adds that the proclamation of Scutari as the capital of Montenegro and the occupation of the Albanian coast destroys the hope of a peaceful settlement.
