DISTURBANCES CONTINUE.
WOMEN AND CHILDREN UNNERVED. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGEAM.. WESTPORT, Fobruary 25. From 8 o'clock yesterday morning till 11.30 last night, the community was not disturbed by earth shocks, but at tho latter time a rex>etition of the dull boom, with a littlo vibration, occurred. At 12.17 a.m. there was another cannonade, and a very pronounced shaking, but no damage was done by any of tho numerous shocks since. Thero was a lively couple of minutes at 12.36 on Saturday. The origin of the disturbance is plainly to the south-west of Westport, and must be relatively close, too, as no damago was dono at Greymouth on ono side, and only tho initial shock was felt at Karamea on tho other side. Colliers describe Saturday's experience as pandemonium let loose. The women and children throughout tho district are unnerved..
