Tho floors oi the various rooms wero then tested, and tho source of complaint was discovered. In almost every room signs of dry rot wore evident, and linoleums havo since been lifted and carpenters employed to raise tho parts thus affected. In one'room practically the whole of tho floor, com]X)std of l*inch red pine, will require relaying, while tho joists in places also show Kij.;ns of decay. Lack of ventilation appears to bo tho cause of tho trouble.
