For tho Trotting Club's Meeting at Canterbury Park to-day, a special service of trams will leave the "square for Sockburn quarter-hourly, from 10.10 a. in.

Public fancy was not far astray at tho Cheviot Meeting yesterday, favour'tes winning in six races out of eight. Tile surprises were the defeat of Dragoon and Arapata in their respective races.
