KEIR HARDIE ON THE STUMP.
(Received December 24th, 12.15 a.m.) LONDON, December 23. Keir Uardio, speaking at South Shields, and referring to tho Trado Union Congress deliberations respecting the maximum hours per day, snid that every trade unionist would bo asked to down tools when eight hours wero up. He honed that this would bo possible on May Ist. In another speech at Newcastle, he said if needful he was prepared to advocate a strike for the right of tho working classes to get drunk in their leisure time.
