-* -■ TROUBLE AT AUCKLAND. dRESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND. December 23. Tho trouble with firemen on vessels trading round the Now Zealand coast Epems to be increasing. The firemen signing on the Pacific Cable Board's steamer Iris to-day for tho trip to Norfolk Island demanded £'1 per day. This was refused, and after a great deal of trouble the captain secured the twenty men required at award rates.
