Lady Georgia mado her first appearance in Australia at Caulfiold on November 16th. when she contested the Rosstown short odds wero, offered about" nor when tho betting opened, but she eventually drifted to an outside price. She never looked dangerous, but may bo seen to advantago later. Fashion Plate, who showed good form over tho hurdles at Riccarton this month, is reported to bo amiss. Warlingfcon, who won tho Caesarc•witch for Mr R. Sievier, has something of a history. Eo wns originally bought by Dawson Waugh as a yearling for 90 guineas, and then passed on toTYIr W. Raphael for a similar figure. Mr Raphael presented him to a lady, who raced him fivo times without success, and then sold him. The colt next mado his appearance in a selling race, out of which Mr Siovier bought him for 310 guineas. » Ono of-the tow lour muo races now annually decided is the Kentucky Endurance Stakes, which was run at Churchill Downs, Louisville, on October 9th. Sotemia, took charge, nearly a mile from homo, and won in hollow style by a margin estimated at from 20 to 50 lengths.
