(Received November 23th,. 7.15 p.m.) MELBOURNE, November 23. At tho half-yearly meeting of tha Mornt Lyell Company, tho report showed a net profit of £1C6,7-19, and a credit balance to the profit and loss account of £500 r 563. Tho purchase of tho Comstcck property had been completed at a total cost of £13,176. Referring to tho North Lyell disaster, the report said that there was no estimate por-sible of the probablo financial which was entirely uninsured. Tho occurrenco was serious, having been, regarded as an impossibility.
